I also enjoyed the outdoor access, walking outside the sliding doors for a jog every morning was great. I have stayed in the main tower before but personally, the garden wing was better, peaceful not as noisy and not many people. I stayed on the first floor with a patio in the garden wing, my room faced the 'garden' area which consisted of shrubbery manicured grass and sidewalks leading to the pool and dock area. I recently stayed at Disney's Contemporary Resort Garden wing and wanted to leave a review that had information others missed. We came back later to watch the fireworks. We had a big birthday dinner at California Grill - well worth the expense if you get a chance to dine there. Note: in the wheelchair accessible rooms, there is very little counter space in the bathroom. But Disney is all about walking! The room itself was laid out well - small, but space for everything we needed. It was a bit of a hike to the guest areas to refill our resort mugs or access the monorail. It was very quiet in that area of the resort and we enjoyed watching the bunnies play outside our door. That worked out well - we even had a little patio where we could sit or access the pool.

We chose a Garden Wing room due to one member of our party having a disability - the wheelchair accessible rooms are on the ground floor near the pool and handicapped parking. Because our two younger members of the party had never been to WDW, we chose the Contemporary for its convenience to the Magic Kingdom. Our multi-generational party of three had a great one week stay at the Contemporary.
